"Hate is a very strong, powerful word. The dictionary definition for hate is to feel intense or passionate dislike for someone or something. Hate and dislike are two different words and have two different meanings. Hate to me is saying that you want to kill the person or you do not want that person here any longer. Dislike is just not liking to be around someone or disliking a certain food. When I hear the word hate I think of bullies, ex's, drama, two-faced people, frizzy hair, humidity, death, the dark, and using / spending my own money. Those are the things I really hate. Now the things I dislike are cabbage, spinach, and school. When people are angry and say "I hate you" that is not an excuse. Hate is such a strong word and hurts many people when you say it." -- Epiphany Sansone
"Hope can mean many different things. It has many different meanings.
To me, hope is having a good life, hoping to graduate, marrying the
person you love, and getting into your dream college. Hope is having
trust in someone. A boyfriend, girlfriend, best friend and family. Hope
is wanting something to happen. Going to a concert, meeting your idol,
or just being with friends. Happiness. My hopes are marrying the person
I love. Making it last forever, and getting into my dream college." -- Jackie Maresco
